Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Got a new pic of my truck this weekend at the Summit Racing Atlanta Motorama. Got to take a couple laps around the track in my '59 which was pretty darn cool. I was blown away that the judges picked my truck for the Rat Rod award. Saw a few AD, TF, and 60s+ trucks there, hopefully next year will be even bigger.

Good for you getting your truck picked and almost cooler using the track.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Picked up a 59 Viking to use as a water hauler. Runs and drives great. It's got a straight 6 (261?) with a 4 speed and a 2 speed rear end. Everything works. Drove it 42 kilometers to work the other day too! Goes 50mph comfortably, didn't really like 60 mph..

Looks awesome! It looks completely different by just changing the wheels and tires and adding a visor. I like the painted wheels and blackwall look personally, but I can't deny that the new look is great!

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
mrkidd, hard to really tell by what your explaining and no pics, if your getting your frame that low and your body is still 6" off ground, that tells me you need to lower your body. but that opens a whole new can of worms. How far is the rest of the frame off ground? I'm not too familiar with the 67-72 clips. you may want to post a thread on your truck and your issues, you'd get a much more isolated slew of responses.
