Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Nice seats, I think they would look better without the headrest...and they might stick up above the back window too. Maybe you can run them without..at least for magazine shoots.
Just my opinion Dennis.

What did you use to route your harness? Zip ties? I am about to route my harness from under my seat to the sensors but dont have anything yet to tie it to the frame or body to get it out of harms way.

Gauges are turning out nice man! I knew Jeff would be able to help you out with some advice on them.
Those seats will look good in there too. Have you noticed how the ball is starting to roll faster and faster yet? |

Gauges look sick man. Those seats will be realy comfy for long road trip to the Oklahoma meet in a year or so! Great work man, keep it up.

The gauges turned out really nice! Looks like the seat is going to fit perfect too. For a minute I thought you had a sweet ring with diamonds and all.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Looks great Dennis!!!
Can you confirm if your large gauges have studs 4 7/8" apart and are diagonal vs. straight across like the small ones? Better yet, can you post up a pic of the back of them?

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
With the gauges mounted in the dash, are the studs running horizontally across, straight in line like your small gauges, or are they staggered?

the best advice i can give you is order the gauges and don't be scared about tearing them apart then follow the directions on Jeff's awesome writeup. the only difference is i used the smaller 2 1/16" gauges
