Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

I found this 1963 Chevy 4 wheek drive at the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction in Orange County this past weekend. It sold on Sunday for $33,000.
"If you build it.......they will come."

I'm not the best photographer...

So this Burb turns up at the local Chevy dealer cruise in, here in town. The owner purchased it from Montana just as you said.

Its a Burb body on a 2006 Chevy 4 wheel drive chassis, DuroMax diesel and Allison trans. The dash gauges were also moved over into a new designed dash.

I just marvel at what it took to accomplish this....
Your right about small worlds, mine is a Fort Hoof, Texas to Aloha, Oregan to BC Canada. Pic is to stay cool with this thread.

That first pic sure takes me back. I came upon an early 60's Chevy pickup on the highway late one rainy night around 1970 in almost the exact same condition. It got hit just as hard and spun around facing traffic. What jumped out at me was how clearly I could see at a glance the entire silver back wall of the interior and the small back window. Seemed a little freaky the whole front of the truck could be completely obliterated. Unfortunately the occupants in that wreck didn't fair as well.

Ok so here are a couple of pictures of my truck after ripping out the blueish window tint, removing the dummy spots and getting the bumper stickers off.

While I am at it here are a couple pictures of the Bronco I am working on for my daughter. I am redoing the body and doing a few custom touches like shaving door handles and using remote keyless door poppers. As well as Eliminating the stock mirrors and installing some peeps.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

Work is in progress, summer camp has had me busy in the last month. Now it's time to go back to my hobby! Fixing to start gathering interior parts, camel or tan is the color I'm going with since my truck is a copper tone color. Looking forward to getting my plans ready for the 540 CID that I'm going to build myself.

My Dads 66.Rednose maybe you have seen it at a carshow before? He bought it in 67 and was a work truck for many many years before sitting in the back yard for 15 years. We did a frame off resto/mod. The motor/trans is my work. This is my fave picture because he won best motor in the Dallas SEMA show.

long rod 406,ballanced blue printed, Brodix track 1s, solid roller .575 .600, harland sharp, Tunnel ram 2X 500 Edel...turbo 350 good stuff 3500 TCI.
