Gauges look sick man. Those seats will be realy comfy for long road trip to the Oklahoma meet in a year or so! Great work man, keep it up.

The gauges turned out really nice! Looks like the seat is going to fit perfect too. For a minute I thought you had a sweet ring with diamonds and all.

Looks great Dennis!!!

Can you confirm if your large gauges have studs 4 7/8" apart and are diagonal vs. straight across like the small ones? Better yet, can you post up a pic of the back of them?

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

With the gauges mounted in the dash, are the studs running horizontally across, straight in line like your small gauges, or are they staggered?

basically Swervin and Jeff here have it covered on Jeff's website 73-87.com

the best advice i can give you is order the gauges and don't be scared about tearing them apart then follow the directions on Jeff's awesome writeup. the only difference is i used the smaller 2 1/16" gauges

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

Dennis, check the small gauge measurements you PM'd me, they don't add up (literally).

I submitted my order, and added a little extra play on the small brackets, to allow for adjustability and to account for the addition snafu.

Hope to get them by the end of the week if all goes well.

No problem, got the drawings to the shop, they are busy, so it looks like they'll be cut next week. Hang tight, I'll get the brackets to you so you can put your big ones in.
