well here is how we are doing on Mike end, I took a day off of work yesterday (I don't do that very often) and we finished up all the little last minute frame mods in the morning then the afternoon Gary Angel of Street Driven Customs , Myself and his helper Paul roughed in all the body work, they are finishing the body work today and we will prime it tonight, paint Sunday !

Yep.. We sold our house in Winfield Ks. and are just leasing now... We are getting the house in order in Grove OK so when we retire we just move without any debt... of course if I don't stop spending money on this 67 the house will never get completed... I just bought a complete bed from Classic Parts of America and all the trim from Mar-K along with getting a bunch of stuff replated from Advanced Plating in Nashville...

Your Blazer is going to be amazing...

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

from the sound of it you guys dont have to pay tax on the value of the houses
over here its being seen as capital , even income , thats the reason people in the netherlands always keep some morgage on the house you get some taxexemptions then
think it was 1.5 percent of the value of the house per year and a small 2 bedroom 1 bath house is about 240.000 dolars here

We have pretty much the same thing here in the states... If I don't reinvest the profits from the sale of my home back into another home within 18 months then there are Capital gains tax that will have to be paid... the ting is the house I bought in Grove, Oklahoma I paid 90K for it... I am putting an additional 125K (this point that is how much) into it doing an addition to the house and adding a 36X50 Garage Then I get to add an additional 35K for a swimming pool... Unless I can talk my wife out of it... By doing all of this I escape the capital gains...

Now back to the build of this AWESOME Square Peg

Slick! I like the notch for the filler neck. Was the factory relief removed from the tub?
