Drive head leaves a little to be desired, prefer hex drive and a little less counter sunk My trusty old ignition screw holder came thru again, probably one of the oldest in the box

Re: PO has me PO'd
What is the ancillary tube?
What do you think about the lokar shifter? I am considering ordering one for a different project I have. |

First lokar shifter I bought was the body mount system, didn't like the idea of it flexing with body roll so I changed it to the trans mount, much better, very adaptable

Re: PO has me PO'd
Looking good not sure how I would wrap it either?? You will think of something I will need to hide some of the additional wires (new harness with more options I won’t be using at least for now AC ELEC FAN etc. )under my dash

Re: PO has me PO'd
If it is like the coolant temperature gauges, with the probe and metal tubing to the gauge- it is a capillary tube.
It might look good coiled up under the dash, behind the gauage how you have it pictured. Are you making a new aluminum shift boot ring, or some kind of spacer? |

Re: PO has me PO'd
For some reason, I couldn't replicate the first piece I made, I'll call it a senior moment,
Finally after days of thinking I put the part on my V block and was able to tap in the convex shape I needed

Speed, pressure, and lubrication are the key ingredients to drilling this rusty metal, if the metal isn't chipping, put a stone to the bit
