Sorry to disappoint but no more trucks on the horizon. When I'm feeling up to it, another project it might be a 69 Camaro or a 65 Corvette. I figured I needed a tow vehicle first, and then the real restoration car project could begin.

Not a disappointment here. Just put the build thread on the alternate tinkerings area and all your stalkers will follow. I'd like to build either car you mentioned. I'd rather have a mid year vette, but they'd need to reproduce a body so I can afford one. Great work as usual Drew.

Sir,
I've followed your build since I first became a member, and seeing what you've done and some of the others on this site. Is a real inspiration to me. I cannot wait to see your finished project. Keep up the great work and thank you.
Eric

This build is off the chart...... Got to ask what are your plans for the 8 lug mags that was on the green truck.... Would look great on my daughters build. It is a 72 camper special.

They were 16.5 inch and are probably containing Coke products by now. (scrapyard)

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I know I am bouncing around here a little, but just putting stuff together as I run across it.
I installed the driveshaft, measured, and took it back out. Need 4.5 inches added and I will take it in next week.

Partially installed the steering wheel & column and fully installed the brake booster.

Added the A/C condenser to the grille area for fitment purposes, but it will be in and out several more times.

Looked at how the Mass air and filter box will fit also.

Mocking up the rear air bags and deciding how and where to attach for 9 inch standard ride height. The air bag is 9 inches tall inflated.

We are back from college visits at Vanderbilt and UVA, so time to get back on the monster. This morning I am cutting and welding up my bag frame brackets.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I know these look a little strange, but the paint was wet so I couldn't show them mounted. All that is left is to drill out these to mount the upper bag mount.
The right side gets the panhard rod mount too.

Vandy! Your son must be very smart, and a hard worker. The Dores didn't do so well in Tuscaloosa tonight...but like I always say, if anybody gets hurt, Vandy probably has four or five future doctors on the field...
