Re: Putting Camaro front in 55 second gen
Thanks! Its almost 70 here today, I rolled the cab out and etch primed it to keep it from flashing over.... I dont plan on taking a whole lot of time welding everything but with the humidity it doesnt take long to rust,,,, I dont want to blast it again!
The rotisserie sure made it EASY to prime! I should get someone with power to move this to the build section, I didnt know there was one until I mistakenly posted in it yesterday... Last edited by Dave0; 02-11-2017 at 04:42 PM. |

Wow this thread has been hiding in pure sight. Some really great ideas throughout, such as the hidden tie downs which i think I might steal. Fantastic metal work and some great ideas, I'm subscribed!

Back on it!
Several people asked to see my Trans cooler when mounted, here it is. Made a regular shroud for the engine fan. |

Re: Putting Camaro front in 55 second gen
Fitting seat belts out of the Kia I robbed the seats out of. I spent a whole day making the reinforcements to "snake" up behind the pillar for strength. I will end up making a cover for the adjustable height mechanism....
Then 16 hours making a 3rd brake light (LED) that looks like it belongs.... Last edited by Dave0; 09-22-2017 at 06:43 PM. |

Dave, was just looking back through this thread. Did you run your trans cooling lines through radiator, then trans cooler? Wondering if this approach will cool as effective as mounting trans cooler in front, using radiator fan. Thanks, Jim |
