Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
A buddy of mine had brought his bike over to load up in the trailer for a bike show tomorrow. I thought you guys would like this picture. My friend made both my fender and his fender out of a flat piece of sheet metal! He used mallets and plenishing him to shape them, no stock fenders chopped up. He has some serious metal working skills and have learned a lot from him.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Love the smoothed dash too. Trying to decide If I'm going to do that on my build or if I will end up cutting it into a tighter radius so that it doesn't stick out past the gauge cluster depth at all...

Awesome fenders
truly an art that is unfortunately dying with each generation! Most would rather buy these things than make them from scratch these days. There is so much more to be proud of when something is hand fabricated.

Those are some nice looking bikes. Are the frames custom made also?
Which one is yours?

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
did some work on my cab and had opened up the side vent boxes. the passenger side was rusted and buldging at the seam and had cleaned a bunch of junk out when i tour my truck apart. but to my suprise when i had gotten them of they look great! clean up the rust paint it and weld it back together! i had added 2 holes to either side at the lowest spots to help with water drainage.
