Re: Project "Tiffany"

I see you use a Wilwood master with no booster on your builds, how is the pedal feel compared to running a Booster? i love the way it cleans up the firewall and i want to go that route... i'm sure you have answered this question before and i just missed it.

If you ask him that in person when your standing by his truck at a show, He'll say "hell go drive it and see how it feels." That's what he did me

Re: Project "Tiffany"

I was fortunate enough to get to drive Hazel and to my surprise the Wilwood master cylinder worked great with a nice firm but easily responsive pedal, from 65 mph i could touch the pedal and the truck would react as if it had a booster. Only way to go.

Re: Project "Tiffany"

I have a factory booster and a Wilwood MC ready for my gmc. Is that going to be too much? Overkill I mean? Should I ditch the booster?

Re: Project "Tiffany"

Depends on bore size of your MC. The way I understand it is most power brake setups use a larger bore size than manual brake setups. I believe 7/8" bore for manual brakes is the consensus. Take my thoughts with a grain of sand though as I'm no expert. Too large a bore without a booster and I believe you will be doing leg presses to stop.
