Re: "One really slow build" thread
I think Ima build the rear to do whatever I want, then one day I'll make the front do whatever the rear can do (if that made sense)
I just have to decide if I want a big notch sticking up through my floor, or do I want to back half it On the front I may be able to get away with drop spindles (but I dunno if the tires will be big enough to keep the A-arms from dragging) As much as I would like to ride low, I'll settle for just laying out when I park (for a while) |

Re: "One really slow build" thread
layin frame is nice, but the extra work to lay rocker is that much better

Re: "One really slow build" thread
Well my truck is off the road for a while, so I can get some stuff done to it
I'm waiting on the rubber grommet for the gas tank, so I can finish that And I'm selling my 20's, to go for more of an Old Skool look I'm getting a sweet black bumper from Michael (Select) so that'll be going on soon I think Ima pull the bed & front clip off, so I can align the body correctly & when I put it back together I'll put my new grill in the front & put wood in the bed |

Re: "One really slow build" thread
As for the bagging, I have decided that for a while all the rear needs to do is what the front does now & from measuring the difference all I need is a bolt in notch
I'll do this while the bed is off, I'll also be putting on the tank, valves, compressor & whatever else When I get around to the interior, Ima build a custom console & some speaker boxes for the cab corners 7 maybe the kick panels or the doors I won't be running any big subs anymore, just some really good 6x9's or something similar Think Ima go for kindof a phantom look for the truck heres some inspiration Last edited by Spray-Bomb; 09-28-2007 at 11:57 AM. |

Re: "One really slow build" thread
Ok, so here are some questions
Should I run a roll pan or bumper up front, should I run the hub caps, white lines, red lines, or blackwall, if no hubcaps then do I run spider caps or chrome lug nuts ??? I decided to run my 5" monster tach, so that'll be going in soon & I'm also changing the carb out |

Re: "One really slow build" thread
Thats looks sweet
But I don't think I'll run mine on the collumn, I'll either run it under the dash (which I don't like cuz it's harder to see) or somewhere up higher |

Re: "One really slow build" thread
Here's an update
I sold my wheels to Mark today !!! Played around with mounting my tach & got pics of my tail lights I smoked the other day ( did it with black spray paint, but dunno if they'll let enough light through to be safe in the day time) \ \ Oh, & I bombed one of my bedsides to see how I liked it being one color again |
