Beautiful rig! I miss my old 71 Chevy Fleetside so bad. My Dad rolled it 7 times through 150 feet of fence line coming home from work a few years ago. Caved in the cab into a V right above the steering wheel and broke the seat belt. Walked away without a scratch.

Old American steel ftw.

Sorry to hear about your truck, but Im glad to hear your Dad is OK. I bet that was one hell of a ride or should I say tumble. Thanks for the compliment.

Re: My Oldest Sons Frankentruck Project

So have you concluded negotiations with the finance advisor and are you ready to move on to production of the 67 Short Wide? Inquiring minds want to know.... Remember... "I am your biggest fan." LoL...

Redneck72,
Ive had a slight setback you might say. I thought I was done with this Project until I found a severe Oil Leak in the front of the engine around the Timing Chain cover. I guess that is what I get for having a Chrome Timing Chain Cover. I am putting on a stock one and it should be all put together before the end of the day. I will Start a New Build Thread and post some pictures tonight of the 67 short fleet. I will post some pictures of the work we are doing on this one as well.

Re: My Oldest Sons Frankentruck Project

So Far its not leaking, But I need to drive it a bit to see if its good. Dont want to take it out until tomorrow so Hopefully it wont leak after I drive it a bit. I let it run for about 10 Minutes with no leaks so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully it will go home with my Son this Friday.

Thanks,
Your 56 Is really motivating me. I have a 56 BigWindow Short Step that Is going to be my truck and I am thinking about putting a 5.3 in it with a 4L80 behind that. I already have a Ford 9 to go in the back and will probably put in a 4 Link with air bags. I like the color you used also, is that Arrival Blue?
