did some more engine work today installed intake, dizzy, rockers, fuel pump and lower pulley and bolted the exaust manifolds up. Then just decided to go for an afternoon cruise in the ol car...... (cell phone pix)

yea here ya go my dad bought it for me a 15 and i still haven't paid him back all the 1,300 ha so he is still part owner how it was back then and at the cruise in this year i had it painted in 04-05 i think

me and dad got her running this morn. we moved the dizzy one notch over and beat on the carb some and she purrs pretty good at idle maybe if it does good i can move on...

since it was in the 60s today i went out to work on the truck some, worked on wireing getting it straightend up and soldered all the connections and heat shrinked them. Still got to run them better and get some loom to put over them. Finished hooking up all the gauge wireing too. Gonna wait to get my inner fenders in to finish up the wireing on the driver side to make sure i have enough to run it like i want it.

did alittle today: got the lower radiator mounts in got the torque converter bolted up starter on also welded up a small hole in the power steering pump res. and bought some stuff to get it up and running! it gets dark at 5:00 so......

Did some work today: Welded the new bottom into the orginal sides on the battery tray, installed thermostat and houseing, spark plugs, distributor hold down, reassembled power steering pump and installed, bent up an new fuel line, reassembled alternator and installed, painted and installed oil dipstick, started some wireing.

i won't install the valve covers until last after it's running and we adjust the valves, the exaust manifolds are just painted black with high temp paint

did some work today, installed radiator, battery, battery cables, belts, hoses, plug wires, carb., dizzy power wire, pulley,fan, etc. made me a brace for the power steering pump with to nuts and a bolt works good though

well got the gauges in good enough to get it running i adjusted the valves pretty close and fixed a couple little things we tried to start it but the i think i got the dizzy off some so it was already dark and we decided to just go in and eat thanksgiving supper

I had an opportunity to get my wife a '67 also, but she told me if I got it she would literally kill me. You are lucky that she likes trucks. Mine only likes hotrods so I'm lucky there. I totally dig what you're doing to the engine, and the rest of the truck. I can't wait to see it done. Keep it up.
