I'm with you on that. I don't like my wheels. 4 steelies would be better.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
Those kind of things dont really show up around my area on craigslist.
There is a set in my back yard but i want to put them on my blazer. I have 6 but 4 have decent tires on them for my k5. so i really only need two more and tires. 6 bolt rims are hard to come by though or so it seems around my area. junkyard it is.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
hah yeah
I guess I don't. Seems like around Wausau no one likes this stuff. I never see old Chevys or parts for sale around here. We would have more of this stuff but my old man always says what are gonna do with that? We got enough stuff on the yard. Like that 4x4 67 I should have got.

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
Thanks
yea tires are big but will work and hold air till i can buy some new ones. I could peal the 4x4 thing off. I guess you can pop the insert out and put a different one in. Yeah I saw some nice Chevy inserts ones for a 2wd at the junkyard. Because I went to our local junkyard today and was looking for rally's the guy had some but wanted 25 a piece for them and they didn't have trim rings or centers. But he pointed out that he had some centers so I may go back for them. Also asked him if he had any 67-72, sure enough he had some. a Gmc and a Chevy. and a bunch of parts doors, Fender, hoods, and grills. Couple things i saw that i liked where a decent fender for my driver side and a nice chrome bumper i may go back and get. depending on how much they want....

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
Yeah, thats What I gave. 25 a pop for 15/8 with no caps/rings. needless to say I brought them back when I found a set for $100 already painted. Yeah the guy refunded my $. lol

Re: Project' 69 c10 aka sin.
Try this as a cheap and nice (to me) alternative. Walmart spot mirrors and some clear RTV. I think when I did it I had about $15 total invested for 4 wheels. They will even cover the 4x4 front ones that have no backing for a sticker.
Oh yeah, your tire size look real good on your truck! Big, but I like!

Thanks palf70step for the tip.
I'll have to check out my local wally world. Tire size is real big haha. These rims sure finished up the look. I just gotta paint them now cause po painted the black and its starting to wear off. but here are some daytime pics. Other pic was from right after i put them on last night. Im gonna put the other caps on the back that don't have a hole today.
