Super clean build 65. The air brush trim looks slick!

Looks great! I am jealous, I am just starting to think about when I will start tearing mine down. Want more drive time, but excited to get at it too!

Re: It's just a work truck!

That engine compartment looks sweet. Work truck my a$$. I think it's 100% show truck and don't really see you taking it to the dunes to get sand blasted. Good luck at Gaylords. I hope things turn out good there. Have a safe trip. I'll call you and Jeff to see what you guys are doing.

thanks Don. "peoples choice award". I think most people liked the painted on trim. It was unexpected that's for sure. But it was nice to receive the award. Jeff and I worked hard on this trk, as you know. It was nice to see all the trucks and people there. I didn't get to look at all the trucks as good as I like, my trks first show, I hung around my trk a little too much answering peoples questions.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about the white at first, but I like it with the white top on the truck. Maybe a little pinstriping on it? we'll see...

Re: It's just a work truck!

I made this plate for the a/c heater hoses. I ran 1 of each through the firewall, and the others and the dryer under the inner fender to keep the engine compartment cleaner. heres a few pic's...

Re: It's just a work truck!

When I ordered my carpet kit from Brothers, I ordered an extra yard to cover the back of the cab. I used a piece of thin wood to glue the carpet to. I had a couple of 6x9s to mount behind the seats. I'm no upholsterer, but it's good enough. ( IT'S JUST A WORK TRUCK! )...

Re: It's just a work truck!

If you baffle your speakers they will sound better and last longer.
I particularly like the foam cup ones that just mount up between the mounting surface and the speaker. These help protect speakers that are mounted in areas that are possible or likely to get wet too (like in doors).

Looks good man! How do you like the carpet?

Thanks, I have alot of insulation on the back of the cab for heat and noise. The speakers should do fine, I'm not a big sound system guy. The Brothers carpet is ok, I have nothing to compare it to.

Re: It's just a work truck!

Thanks for posting the pics of the AC hose routing. I'm in the planning stages now. I like where the drier is and I'm gonna see if I can rotate my compressor. Right now the ports on my compressor are on the top.

BTW the truck turned out really nice.
