Re: Made my hotel reservations for the Southeast Truck Nationals

Ole Blue made the 960 mile round trip flawlessly with the AC running and at 75 mph a good part of the time.

It was a good time with good people. The trucks get better every year.

Re: Made my hotel reservations for the Southeast Truck Nationals

I guess I was trying to get home a bit too quickly after the show. As I was taching up the K20 while leaving Westmoreland TN, the city police pulled me over for doing 54mph in a 30mph zone. I was at the end of town and thought the limit was back to 55mph, but I was wrong. They also didn't like the year-of-manufacture license plate that I was running, which is legal in my home state of KY. However, the officer was cool and let me go. He understood that I needed to get some air moving on a 95 degree day.

Regardless, it was great to be there and see everyone.

In my haste to get home, I wouldn't have been surprised if I had suffered a similar fate.

a LOT of nice trucks there, show is much bigger than it used to be. Great time.
We was hoping to see you in the Pavillon where they sell Tee-shirts.

If one of us could get your Contact info,
we can plan to see you next year in the group meeting at High Noon.

Re: Made my hotel reservations for the Southeast Truck Nationals

I get it. We took our big road trip in May and I had planned on posting a bunch of pictures. But I really didn't take that many and the ones I did take looked kind of lame using the phone. One of these days Ill dig in to it.
