Truck looks great! And when you said Crown Vic, I got scared. Then saw the pics and went back and reread the year. I thought you'd gone off your rockers restoring an 80s or 90s Vic. Hahaha! I didn't know those cars used to be cool!

Here's a couple... I think the blue/baby blue would look cool on one of our trucks. The thought crossed my mind several times but... I really wanted it to look more stock.

I like them I think they will look great. Can't wait to see them mounted on the truck. I forgot to ask about your Raptor bedliner, did you roll it on after you painted it or did you spray it on?

Talking Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!

Mike I get the tires mounted Monday and plan to come back and stick them on... can't wait! The raptor kit came with the gun and I shot it at 35-40 psi. The bed was already primed and ready so the biggest job was masking everything again.
I did a little testing on a cardboard piece to figure out how much to lay down and how fast to move the gun. The urethane kit is super easy to use and clean up. I would use it again for sure... It took three bottles of the four in the kit to do my bed floor and under both the rear and front fender wells.

Looks like a pro did it!

Did you get the fat man package yet?

Love the fender picture. Can't wait to see it all together. That seat looks like it's good condition. What's the story on the console?

Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!

When I purchased the truck it had buckets in it. Not original stuff but covered short buckets of some variety.
I want a bench for the passenger room (little girl) and maybe mom.

The console was in the truck when I purchased it. No plans for it at the moment...

Thanks man! It's been a LOT of work thus far...

I pulled the trigger this afternoon on the steering wheel for it.

Check it out.

Re: 72 Not sure what to call it yet resto!

I got the wheels and tires mounted on the truck yesterday... I like it! Not what I was planning when I started this project but I like the way it's going.
The Streeters don't have the best shine but for the money they are pretty nice wheels. I ordered some California Purple to try on them...

I started to clean up the gauge cluster and work on getting it in decent condition to put back in. Waiting on some parts...
Is there a way to reset the odometer???

Wheels and tire look great. Thats the size I want to go with (295/40/20 rear). I think that old cup holder console is pretty hard to find. nice piece.
