I'd much rather have one of your tanks based on this thread. Post if there's ANY chance the 8+ can persuade you to knock them out sooner. Thanks for being a board vendor!!

I Was confused on why you though that the move date was the end of sept untill i went back and looked. I had posted the wrong dates We are actively moving now and plan to move the equipment labor day weekend. I went back and edited that post. I was planning on launching a group buy Sept 7th all along. i am just ironing out the details. Thanks for all the support this forum has given.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
I'm ready to order too but have the same question as SWB4X4. Can the EFI version be ordered without the $250 pump? Is that the only difference?

Yes and no. It is not just the pump that makes up the 250.00 charge the pump itself is only 130.00 or so the rest of that is our brackets, hardware and labor to produce the EFI System. If you already have a Pump you would like to use send it to me and i will be more than happy to adapt that to your tank. You can always buy a non EFI tank and make your own EFI system if you have the capabilities. Either way your getting a Great deal.

Dave
How do the bed fills work with a wood floor? I just don't want it to end up right next to a cross sill. |

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank
As far as I am aware the location of the filler should place it in the middle of a board. I would spend a few minutes and check for yourself just to be sure.

I ordered mine yesterday. I can't wait to get it installed. I hate my foam filled fuel cell. I never know how much fuel I have.

Dave have you experienced any issues with the website? Tried to purchase EFI tank this morning and got the message "transaction could not be completed". I will give you a call later this morning to place my order over the phone.
Thanks again for the Group Buy and the great product. |
