Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Here is some picture of my dads old 1972 GMC Sierra.
factory 402 BBC, 1/2ton, 2wd, he sold it years ago, and never saw it again and wish he could get it back (402 is now in his Camaro, completely rebuilt) its been gone for about 12 years, and just last month we found it, it hasnt been driven since he sold it. It still has the 305 my dad stuffed into it to sell it, funny story behind why the 402 blew up. My dad was towing his 1969 Camaro upto the drag races, some idiot in his dodge cummins was weaving through traffic like he owned the road, my dad said, screw this ****, and decided to show him up, pulled out, punched it and when he got beside the dodge, the guy was laughing, but as soon as he saw the camaro on the car dolly behind it, his jaw dropped. couple weeks later, Knock, Knock, Knock. As you can see, it was his daily driver year round, and he raced it while the Camaro wasnt worthy that is me standing in front of it.

Worp67, welcome. Looks like a nice start. Hope to see you cruising Russellville soon. Where'd you pick that up at? I thought I've seen all the trucks in fields around here. Good luck.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Over off some back roads in Mansfield. A buddy as well as a member on here had it. I was originally bought for his wife to build but plans changed.
Its goin to be a fun long project. I have recently joined the National Guard and should ship off to basic at the end of the month. I plan to pick it up from his house when I get back from basic and AIT. Also hope to get the bag setup and the 5.3l and 4l60e around that time too. He said with a little tinkering it will start up and drive on the trailer. Once it is here and I start ordering parts I will make a build thread. |
