So This project might be back on track. Hopefully I will get some more progress going soon. want the truck to be able to move independently by Next year.

all new tires have been ordered (should get them friday), I have the new seat covers. Hope to get the rims and tires mounted friday, new fuel lines installed and have her moving by friday afternoon. that's my goal....let's see

well...found out today that my alternator doesn't charge the battery at all. I had thought this might be the case earlier in the build, looked into replacing the alternator, but then looked elsewhere at more issues.

Today's progress (I know I failed because there are no pictures but), I got the front grill installed. Headlights are there but still broken (need to get new ones), amber lights work though, the seats got new foam to sit on, the seat cover went in, the new tires came and were mounted onto the rally wheels, the fuel tank was connected and for the first time since I have had the truck (two years) it ran without being connected to anything.

I was so excited that it was just sitting there idling in my driveway, not connect to an outside fuel source, not needing any help. If it had headlights I would have tried to take it for a spin, but alas it did not, maiden voyage scheduled for next Tuesday (I work until then).

I hope to also, maybe I'll train the kid to shoot film. Anyways, next thing on the list other than the maiden voyage on tuesday will be the alternator and the bed. I would like to try to get the bed back on (and secured) within the week.

Ok, so after tons of phone calls, I got the G8 totalled (long story, was run off the road, I'm not hurt though), got everything in place (I think) for a new car 2013 Ford Sedan Interceptor AWD.

On to the truck - it moved yesterday. up the driveway (no video sorry) only to find out that the parking brake doesn't work. I'm not sure why. You pull the handle and nothing happens. I don't even think I know where it goes to, so I have to dig out my old manual.

Hopefully it's something simple, then I can look at the voltage regulator. Maybe i'll just order a new regulator and replace it anyway.......

So long time no post....still working on the truck...very slowly...oh and I started a masters program.....spring break here i come...
