Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
Daren that cit out is to make room for the rack n pinion that the dropmember from Porterbuilt street rods uses. It is designed to lay the truck flat on the ground. If you cant get a hold of a dropmember then you could do a Z cut on the front frame moving the whole susp up a couple of inches. Not much cost here just a LOT of work. You can also section a out an inch and a half out of your front crossmember and get really low. Mine has a sectioned xmember and almost lays out up front. A little more work and it will. Over all the dropmember is the easiest and most effective but if you can't get one either of these could work. Check it out at porterbuiltstreetrods.com. You can also search the other two options on this site with the search tool and see how they were done.
Juan Oh yea Dino keep it up. Buddy.

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
I do think dino has built up enough bad ass points to drive a focus and make it cool, not that he would......... But I bet he could.

Hey tony got a little done after work this week, but got a plan on saturday after work to bang out some more on my chassis, I slipped my 22" wires under my sub after i pulled the rear end and snaps some pics, i like the idea of 24" on the rear, what kinda of wheels are you going with?

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd
actually ended up passing... thought it over... and it wasn't worth it.. after buying/shipping.. I already had too much money in it... the body wasn't all that good, needed a roof/doors/bed/windows/windshield...etc... you have all of us spoiled with your finds that don't need (a lot) of work.. haha
