Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
i know you could go either way. but imho i think the gate looks a little busy with the trim. just tape it up there and eyeball it. before hand and see if youre inspired

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
I will be going with the trim but only the single piece across the top and the single piece on the out side of the tail light. I am offering the axles tomorrow. I am getting g the blower next weeks so collecting parts as we speak

I'm sure whatever you decide on the trim will look good, you have a great eye for detail

Def. trim on the tailgate. Looks like something is missing without it.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Great project. I wish you and your mom the best in getting through this. I have lost several family members to cancer and know what you are going through.
Those renderings are amazing. They sure give a guy motivation to keep going knowing what the truck will be like in the end.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Love the last rendering with the trim. Is that burl wood or tiger maple or similar for the bed? I like that look with the look of the emblem also having a "swirl" pattern....

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Well I got all the brake parts dropped off at the powder coater and I stained and cleared the bed wood. Pics will be coming in the next day or 2. Just need to cut it and buff the wood. I am going to the paint shop to day to get the supplies.
