Re: 1954 Chevy / S10
Fat Mike. They are from the back of the factory front cab mount(s10). If you want I can measure from the front shock hole. I just did the factory front cab mount because it was close and on the same plain as my new mounts. Let me know.

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10
Hi Trently, The panel is a 1948. I should be soon working on it again. So there will be a build thread on it. Have a good one.

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10
Fat Mike, No problem. I will measure from the shock to the front of each body mount. I did not think of if you ground them off. I took them off with my plasm cutter so there was still about a 1/8 inch left of the factory front mount and I did not grind them off yet.

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10
Fat Mike,From the shock stud to the front of the front mount is 29 1/2 inches and to the front of the rear mount 64 3/4 inches. That is not to the holes if you want that add 1 1/2 inches. If you need anymore let me know.

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10
Well it has been a good day, for the most part it is put together. I have a few nuts and bolts under the truck that need tightened up and the doors need to have the bolts put in and lined up and the hood needs bolted on. Then it is ready for storage. Here are some pictures.

Re: 1954 Chevy / S10
Well, what a weekend. It started on Saturday with snow. We never get snow this early and I think it set a record. Then on Sunday the owner of the 54 came to get there truck. It came in pieces and left as a roller. I texted them to see if they got home alright and they did. Then she said that she steered it off the trailer and in the garage and had a smile all day long. So when I get to finish it I will get back to posting on it again. It was a sad day , you get attached to projects when you build them. I have a 48 truck I am going to be working on next and I will probably do a build on it and sometime a build on the panel. So stay tuned.
