Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
Beeings that I am at work, I am kinda limited to what I have on my screensaver,, But here are a couple from and oregon ride in 2006. first one is on HWY101 south of Astoria and the other is Pilot Butte at bend where we based our rides from my buddies place. I made 1750 miles in 6 days time.. 470 of those was in one day going from portland to 101 and down south then cut back over through Salem/Mcminneville and back to bend. That was a hard day. specialy since we had a passenger switching off with us. (Buddies GF) BTW mine is the Blue Buell. not the CBR missing the fairing. lol

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
TTT for you Dennis, got to keep this great thread going.
Nice one Rich! Good lookin' scooter. Quote:
Welcome aboard! What are you doing out there in the dirt? That's my territory, plus you'll get that beautiful bike all dusty. Quote:
I was riding near Gold Point NV this week. It's a Ghost town near the NV/CA border Between Beatty, and Goldfield. My friends and I rode a 170 mile loop yesterday. Only about 15 miles of it was pavement in Death Valley Nat Park. The rest was dirt. 7,600' elevation. Looking down into the valley below An old lead mine. Group shot.

A little dust won't hurt anything, besides The Strip in the background is a pretty good pic. Cool pics on your Death valley ride.

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
Chuck, You have no idea how much fun it is. It's hard to describe. I love riding now as much as I did as a kid, possibly even more. What hurts is seeing more, and more areas being closed to riding. Everybody make sure your congressmen know how you feel about this. Once they take it away they'll never give it back.
Thanks.... I Agree, It's an amazing view on a clear day.

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
Thanks John. Here's my XJ750 Yamaha. I'm going to make a Cafe Racer. I got it for free. It needs a little work. The first thing I did was fix the dents in the Honda Shadow tank. Then I painted it. Still have to put some clear on it. Next I want to get it running. I used the left over Silver from my Roadstar.

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle
My dirt bike days are over. I'm too old for that now. After 2 crashes, I now have a Rhino.
It's even more fun, and my wife can enjoy it too. I just recently changed the look so it fits in the Toy Hauler without lowering the lights.

You wouldn't regret it Rich. The fun begins where the pavement ends.
