You should tell your kids to quit interrupting your progress. Don't they understand how important your build is?

BTW, it's Lookin' Real Good.

Re: '49 chevy with s-10

Hey man... good to hear from you. Ive got a ton of parts just need to find the time to get everything together. I boought the vintage air front runner and sum more stuff for the motor ( i believe i have almost everything as far as drivetrain except a drive shaft)need to get Ferguson to make me one. Currently im in the middle of getting my driveshaft tunnel made by Buddy Hopson also bought an aluminum radiator from him. Once i get the tunnel done im going to take it over to Chris's shop to get the bottom coated and the firewall / dash painted. You headed to street rod nats this weekend? Feel free to stop by any time.

Re: '49 chevy with s-10

Finally found some time to work on truck again, been busy with new job and family. Started working on drive shaft and tunnel. Also installed new window regulators and bear claw latches. About ready to get dash and firewall painted then hopefully start wiring this thing up

Re: '49 chevy with s-10

rollinrooster;
Just read your post on your project.
Question:
Where did you find the bear claw latches n which type did you get?
I have the latches out of a chevy van, just looks like they are too big to work.

Have a post on here under T-P Auto- starting my build.

Thank you for any info you may want to share.
I find alot of good info on my build from reading other project post.

Thank You.
Tim

Re: '49 chevy with s-10

Looks nice. Why dont you just build two tranny humps while you are at it....I could make sure of one. JK

It always feels good to get back at it after a layoff from working on your project.

Sounds good my brother has a monte carlo drag car that I've been helping him with. It started out as a front wheel drive and now it has a full frame under it with a mustang 2 frontend 4 link and a big block. Might holla at you when we get to the sheet metal part.
