Re: Daverods project 66
According to the wiring diagram for a 64 thats the way it comes from the factory. Two wires going to the sensor?

Re: Daverods project 66
I would assume it works kinda like a single pole dual throw switch, one wire is for your "cold" light and one wire is for your "hot" light.....you could put a single wire sensor for a dummy light and it would only light which ever light you hook it to when it reaches a certain temp or over heats

Re: Daverods project 66
I was going to stop work, but didn't until 4pm. It hit 105 here, but buy tonight it went down to 89 already, and is getting cooler. At least it's not like Vegas. It stays real hot there at night.

Re: Daverods project 66
Back when I did heating systems up in MA there was this house that an older lady lived alone in. While working in the basement you could here her talking to who she thought was Lucifer. She kept asking him if he thought we where looking at her. Couple days later she was admitted into the psych ward.

Re: Daverods project 66
Tore into my steering column the other day. The po had broke off the tabs on the column sleeve that holds everything together. I took the old sleeve off my 66 and used it. Had to glue the signal thing back together because it was starting to break. Got my signasl working. Took my awhile to relize that the bulb holder has to be grounded to the truck to work.

Re: Daverods project 66
one thing you could do about the shifter is cut off the part that sticks off and use kitty hair to fill it, then sand smooth!
