Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....
What do you mean ??
Anyway, I figured out my brake problem. I installed a new ignition tumbler and new door locks as well...all with matching keys. Now you actually have to use a key to start it !! Now just need a few more little things and it's ready to drive. I reinstated my insurance so I'm good to go there. I also ordered some of those LED taillight....I put them on today..man they are BRIGHT !!! I went with the clear ones, but now I wish I would of gone with the red ones. It looks ok though. I still need a overflow reservoir bottle for the radiator. Little things here and there.....It needs a bath and the white wall scrubed. More pics soon..... John

Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....
Here are some update pics...
- - Battery wiring..... - - My buddy Rich hooked me up with a catch tank..... - - Here's a shot of the engine. Notice the brakelines...I had to swap them at the ports cause they were backwards...I'll clean that up eventually....Also that aircleaner element is way too big.... - - Thats about it for now...... - - John

Re: Project "Rock-a-Billy".....Saga Continues.....
I took it out this weekend...Ran really good.
Installed some new guages as well. That 6-cylinder Radiator is working out great. Temp wont go over 180, charge'n at over 14.5 volts, and I got 50-60 PSI of oil pressure at idle. Not too bad. My front seal of my three speed is leaking like mad....should of repaired that already, but pull'n the tranny is no big deal, so I'll do that soon. When I pulled the engine..there was no pilot bushing in the end of the crank, so the tranny shaft was like wobble around. That probably screwed the seal. Anyway, guys thats it for now !!!! THANKS AGAIN FELLAS FOR ALL THE PROPS, MODIVATION, AND TECH SUPPORT !!!!!! YOU GUYS WERE A HHHHUUUUUUUUIGGGGEEE HELP !!!!!! See you at VACAVILLE !!!!!!
