Re: El Chingon

Nope. Ford Vista Blue. I know it is a ford color but it was a cheap mix blue at the paint supply. Just finished spraying it tonight, well as far as I can tell. Everytime I look it over it seems I missed a spot.

I have to say that is a very nice buggy! you must have entirely too much free time on your hands. That had to take a bunch of hour to build.

You are correct about the hours, I have a ton in it. It was a needed project to learn how to bend tubing correctly. I am from the old school and loved doing it. Everyone of my friends said I was crazy and I should just go buy one. Handmade by me. That is all I have to tell myself and it makes it worth the time. And the smile my daughter gets when we rip it across the parking lot. lol With me money and time work hand in hand. When I have the money, no time. No money, PLENTY of time.

I should be picking it up next weekend from Joey, thanks for the contact on this guy. He is doing this at a pretty reasonable rate.

I tried explaining to Joey how I got his number and I never got your name? I would like to tell him who you are next time I talk to him, which seems daily. lol

It sucked taking it out. I kind of test fit it in an tacked it. I then proceeded to take it to a new friend named Joey in South Houston. He is going to finish out the whole cab. He does really good work, at a good price. So we will see how it goes.
