Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

very original 66 C20 283/4-spd with 88k mi (claimed, and I believe it - I'd bet original drivetrain also). Original paint? Could be... $8250 Maybe a little pricey, but overall VERY original and minimal rust, worth it if you like em original. I personally would love to have this truck.

CONGRATS! I think that's a very nice truck you got there. What are your plans for it?

Well, for now, just a few safety upgrades, brakes, tires and wheels, go through the carb and make some adjustments for high altitude, etc. I'll be asking questions from the forum about a lot of things. I've got a few other irons in the fire, so plans are to get her safe and dependable then drive her!

Good plan, please start a thread/share some pics when you get it home, would love to see more of it. Looks like a very original example and would make a good reference for us! Enjoy!

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

New to the forum and wanted my first post to say hello and share my recent purchase of a 1965 GMC short bed fleet side BBW. My best friend Robert Haas who is also a member (and the reason I bought the truck) and I are going to do a partial restoration mostly modifications on this truck which is featured on his thread in the "projects and builds" section. I'm looking forward to getting to know this truck inside and out as well as the members who are passionate about their trucks.

66 K20 327 $8.5K (not a common truck, assuming the 327 is original) - condition looks not all that bad on the surface.

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

Found this one almost 2 years ago on Craigslist in southern California I couldn't find anything in the Midwest that wasn't rotted plus I was going to bag the truck anyway so I picked up somebody else's project & saved $$$$

Re: Post your 60-66 craigslist finds

60 K10 swb $3900. Needs a bed and a "little" work , but I'd sure like to have it! These are kinda hard to come by. My project list is too long or my wallet is too short to add to my list of things I want to do.

For sale is a 1966 Red Dale Chassis mount rv made in Longmont, Co. The Chevrolet truck has only 32,000 miles on it. It is a 292 strait six with a 4 speed tranny.
