Any updates Travis?
What drop were you running on the Blazer before you added the bags?

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Hey Nate,
I think I am done with this thing, it runs good and rides good so I am happy with it now. Before the air I have 2" springs and 3" spindles up front and 2" shackles and leafs off an 93 4x4 new body blazer fliped in the back, that gave me about 5"-6". Hope that helps. Trav

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Man that thing sounds awesome, but I think you set off your fire alarm.
Gotta love that sound! So what mufflers are you running? H-pipe or X-pipe?

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Thanks Nate, in that clip it was open headers. I have some 3" flows but I am up in the air right now on what to put on it. I have made all of the piping I just need to make my mind up on mufflers.

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Saw (and heard ) this bad boy at the Newport show. If possible, it looks much better in person than in the pictures. This is one of my overall favorite vehicles I've EVER seen (And I've been to a ton of shows) It's very nice w/out being Over the top. Honestly you got me started thinking about doing one of these now instead of a 67-72 (but don't tell those guys ) I know I will be looking for both on Craigslist and researching how much I'll have into both to do it the way I want!

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
the gauges look good i myself might've made the dash with a left side to fit the rightside so you had the 4 holes on both sides of the big gauges

Re: 78 2wd Blazer build
Sorry, took it off last year so you can see inside the blazer when it's at shows. I did way to much work inside to hide it all. Thanks for all the kind words..

Very cool mount up. I may have to pick up a spare dash bezel to play with.
