Very cool truck. Can't wait to see it finished. Been following your build from the start. All the pics you posted are going to be very helpful to me on my build. Keep up the good work!

Re: 1963 C10 SWB Big Window Build

Thanks guys. I will build a inner fender and support brace to the core support from the firewall. I want to shake it down a few hundred miles and nut & bolt it a few times first. Not to mention body and paint.

I got some matching round tube and welded some tabs for the frame and tank and bolted it in.

Thanks man...can't wait to see more of your build.

Re: 1963 C10 SWB Big Window Build

Got the accuair vu4 manifold mounted and plumbed and the avs-7 switch box wired in. Ran all 3/8 line with 3/8 rubber fuel hose anywhere it can come in contact with edges so it won't wear. That accuair valve is sweet, the easiest air system i have ever worked with. I also put the muffler kit on the valve exhaust, and it sounds cool when you dump it. Bed is on also, i need to pull it out for some pictures. I need to put the hood on and drive it over to the exhaust shop.

Re: 1963 C10 SWB Big Window Build

Dude you work fast! All that Porterbuilt stuff looks like it bolts in there nice and easy, I love it! Anxious to see what you do with the hood/inner fenders.

Are those LED tail lights? If so what style are they? Full board or the little plug in bulb ones?

6 Months of working on your truck after work and weekends

Spending a bunch of money on parts

Seeing your bumpers on the ground

*********PRICELESS*********

Had to get a couple quick pictures, its supposed to rain for the next 10 days.

Re: 1963 C10 SWB Big Window Build

I'm not a "laying frame" kind of guy but your truck is fantastic. HUGE kudos on your vision and you ability to have the dedication to get it done. SUCH nice workmanship. You're a true hotrodder, man.

What is the final exterior and interior color plan? If you posted it, I've missed it. Will you be making inner fender wells to cover those front tires?

Re: 1963 C10 SWB Big Window Build

Thanks guys. I have gone a buch of different ways on color. Maybe a flat metallic silver on the outside and keep the metallic burgundy red interior and run steel smoothies the same color as the interior with W/W's and bullet caps. or maybe a faux-tina paint job...

I need to line up some body lines and get the hood on and if there is a day this next week get it to the exhaust shop.
