Re: DBW pedal mounting bracket

Sorry I didn’t read every post to see if was asked, but I am curious if you can simply swap pedals from one to another. Are LS engines, computers/controllers, etc not mated to their original pedals, like some sort of calibration thing? So if I have truck engine and want to use the corvette pedal assembly for looks, is it as simple as re-pinning?

Short answer is no. The pedal needs to match your throttlebody, which needs to match you ECM software...

Thanks for the reply. So if I wanted to use a corvette pedal (because it looks correct) with your bracket, what year truck engines would interchange with it, possibly requiring two wires to be swapped? I’m looking to get a 6L engine, but could go 5.3L truck.

Do you have one of these for a dbw cadillac pedal? I have a Holley terminator x and that is the pedal I have to use.

Do you have these in stock and ready to ship?

And does anyone know the size/thread of the bolt that is used to thread into the original pedal firewall holes?

Thanks for the purchase! The Corvette bracket doesn't come with the bolts, but they are just 1/4 - 20. Younshould be able to use the ones from your factory pedal.

Thank you. It will be a couple of week as I'm waiting on my machine shop. Let me know if that is a problem.
