Yeah!!!! U come up with the stencil and we can paint it on the door. I'll get some poster board at $tree and we can make up some stencils. This is getting out of hand but I love it!!!

Ol' skool, I like where your head is at. I have always wanted a car/truck with a flamethrower, it sure would be awesome to see.

Re: Irish's 1966 LWB Fleetside
The only thing that has kept me from doing it is that the bumper on my '79 Camaro is plastic. Not a good mix for fire. Once I see one done and get to watch a real video again, I'm sure that adding one to my '65 won't be too far off.

nice. I'll keep my eyes on here for sure. With two trucks in one thread, from a fellow Guinness drinker, how could I not? Can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Re: Irish's 1966 LWB Fleetside
Well, the 66 in the earlier pics is now mine. We went and picked her up today. A leaky gas tank, no tailights, and a gas pedal that liked to be carressed to keep her running. I was high as a kite after the drive home. Luckily it was only a few miles down the road. I found it hard to get used to the fact that 2nd and Reverse were so close. Had a little scare when I went to take off in second and starting moving backwards. Lol. Good thing my buddy wasn't too close behind me. Anyways, got her home and she got some immediate attention. I will post some pics soon. Ol Skool came over and we put in a good days work on her. Thx again to Jason for selling her to me and being really cool. He is building a rat rod and I hope he posts pics of his soon.

Re: Irish's 1966 LWB Fleetside
This was the most fun build I have done yet. It was a cheap buy and we put in two solid days of work on this truck and made a great daily driver. I have to give a lot of credit to Ol Skool (Kelly) and my buddy Tom.

Re: Irish's 1966 LWB Fleetside
Thx lads. We put in some hours on this one, but it chirped the tires and lit some fires yesterday, and that made the effort well worth it. Needs some small stuff, but it will be running around Hillsboro as soon as it goes on the Insurance. I'm still grinning from ear to ear.

Re: Irish's 1966 LWB Fleetside
Thx Chizzler. A quick update......
Got some bits for the 6-banger. Shocks for the front, ordered the rears. There is a bad exhaust manifold leak, that's starting to give me a headache lol, so I got a gasket kit for it and a donut. I also picked up a carb kit and my buddy Tom is the carb man. He's gonna rebuild her and jet her. So, hopefully by tues I will have it running sweet and quiet. Then the exhaust is getting a make-over. Something, to give it a nice sound. That is, after I get a camaro and a pontiac from in fornt of the garage. Then hopefully on to OL SKools ride. I have faith in his six banger. If we can get that one running, it will be another sweet daily driver for him. Pick-N-Pull, here we come.

Nice work Irishman! I look forward to seeing it on the road. The truck used to be named Frankenstein - not so fitting anymore.
