Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
Just got home, worked on the truck for 4 hours instead of watching the game tonight. Here is a shot of the new trans cooler, then the bed I just finished sealing the under neath. The just a pic cause I was leaving the shop for the night and had to say bye bye...
enjoy...

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
thanks guys!
I didn't even bother cleaning up the trans fluid on the floor yet, i figured maybe if the floor has some on it the trans won't leak no more... haa haa

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
drivea55, i just saw your build today, started reading up to where you chopped the top.
do you have a windshield for your truck? asking because i know the front glass is the hardest part of a task force chop.

not trying to be negative, but i've seen my fair share of trucks scrapped from lack of windshield. first rule of chopping a task force truck is to have windshield cut first and make the frame fit the glass. back and side glass are easy.

Re: J.M. Laflamme Build
While the tank is out of the bed I figured may as well work on getting the sending unit made.
the new gauges came in with the new gas sending unit. Since my tank from coyote-gear did not come with a sending unit adapter I was going to have to make one. so I turned and milled a piece of aluminum to match my tank, and this is how it came out. tapped it using 10-32 threads and sizing up some cap screws for now for fit. this weekend I will get it welded to the actual tank and installed. enjoy!
