Re: Dropmembered 64 stepside

Looks like a really nice kit. I would start with putting some peanut butter on them crackers and sitting down and snacking while I read the instructions

The Ron Francis kit is supposed to be wicked nice, too. Man, good call. Do it right one time.

Re: Dropmembered 64 stepside

Took 2 steps forwards and feels like 20 steps back, went to install plugs wires and distributor, but when u went to turn crank to get top dead center the motor turned a bit then locked (plugs were out) I'm gonna pull tranny to make sure everything is where it is supposed to be cause when I put my crank pulley in the engine turned easily now it feels like it locked so let's see how it goes

Re: Dropmembered 64 stepside

Gonna pull out tranny to see why the motor stopped turning. Im hoping its just the converter or flywheel bolts. But while im at it im gonna weld up my tranny hump and put some other little twist in this build. I felt like the truck was going in a different direction than i origionally planned. To many people thinking i was building a "Rat" Rod.... When i was really aiming for "STREET ROD" lets see how this goes.....

Re: Dropmembered 64 stepside

Hot Rod Flatz "Daytona Blue Pearl" on the exterior and interior still iffy. That's prolly in the years to come though I kinda want a gloss interior with a flat exterior...let's see
