Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II
Well i got to work on the chop this weekend, got the rear window tacked back along with the inside supports. in and the cab corners fitted as well as got the passanger door top put back together, had to hand make the filler peices but in all it turned out to be a productive wekend.
Top split in half Used screw jacks to support the top Back window Inside supports done (not pic of the other side) Cab door jams filled Cab corners Door frame fillers Whatcha think? Justin

Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II
OK, big update!
Im happy with the chop but i didnt like the front window. still looked to big and aslo wanted to take some of the crown out of the roof, so i lowered the frame work an 1/2". Then i removed the seems on the A pillers. Fixed the drivers side corner and door jam area. Recently bought a TIG welder so what better time to learn than now. then on to filling the gap between the roof sections, need to redo it cause i got to big of gaps but it will have good flow. Then i tried to fix more of the driver side roof but i decide to just make a new section. Any ways heres the pictures!! Before lowering the window opening During After New corner and a pillers Back cab wall welded and smoothed Cab upper corner after my first atempt to fix it New peice i made And fitted What do you all think Justin

Holy smokes! You've done so much work and with your skills you could've just started with a sheet of metal of sculpted your own roof. Nice work!
