Dino
Did you cut the frame and roll the back section forward?

Do you have any pictures of the work and maybe the inside of the frame too?
Did you end up with a one piece drive shaft?
How is the truck to drive, no load and shorter too.
Did you take out the overloads?

thanks! mick 5 ft off the back about 3ft out of the middle,i had thoughts of cutting the rivets and rolling the axle foward , but instead just cut the frame and remade the drive line into two piece instead of 3 piece, willie the dude that did the work is talented!! except the inside of the frame you cant tell, he even use the stock cross member with carrier bearing,, as far as the over loads i left them for now and the truck is a blast to drive, only thing is due to no weight its easy to lock up ther rear brakes and really thats kind of fun i will post up some pics of the chassi

Re: 67-c50 soon to be long bed

LOOKIN GOOD I have a Idea tho since there is such a big difference between the bottom of the bed and the "running board ?or step" if you could find another set of steps mount them under the bed to kind of even up the space. Just a thought looks cool anyway you go I guess your gonna build a drop bumper for the rear ? COOP
