Re: Tommys66 Build
Sorry for the wrong part # on the wires. I didn't consider the difference between the coils setups.
Gotta tell you though, your build has a lot of great info. Great job!!

That's the way I'd do it. I think you have the red one hooked up wrong though.

Re: Tommys66 Build
ordered a radiator from jegs, It is the chevrolet universal fit. dimensions are 26" wide, and 19" tall. it came with universal mounting straps, also got a polished cover for the top. I am not sure how to mount this thing....can I set the bottom in rubber pads as is or do I have to make a cover for the bottom?

Re: Tommys66 Build
Still working on radiator brackets, In the mean time I made the brake lines for the rear end. The only problem with the lines is I need a way to secure them. I don't know what was used on this rear end originally.

Mine are held on with a little metal tab just welded to the axle. It just bends over the brake line. Looking gooood. I want one.

Re: Tommys66 Build
Nice work Tommy. I made a cover for the bottom of my radiator for more support so the coils don't crush.

Re: Tommys66 Build
this is the only pic I have. it is a lokar dipstick. It just presses into a rubber grommet at the block, and I haven't decided where to bolt the bracket to.

Re: Tommys66 Build
I've got the same one, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious place that "it" wants to bolt to, .

Re: Tommys66 Build
I think it is too short for this application, but it was too expensive to not use! Prolly have to make a bracket for it. had to make brackets for everything else so far, so why not this too.

Re: Tommys66 Build
I pictured a zip tie right at that moment too. I've seen them used for some pretty crazy things.
