Re: Got a new truck
I didn't really look so if they are they are. And from what i just looked at they have the same low ratio. And now as i look at the pic. It doesn't have the flange behind the front output like the np205 or 203.
Yukon what is the reason for you swapping out the t221? I think i remember seeing it in one of your threads if i remember correctly. Hopefully today i will have pics with the doors on.

Re: Got a new truck
I screwed up and let my T221 get low on gear oil and took out some bearings - I had a spare NP205 so seemed like a good opportunity to upgrade. T221's are strong but they are harder to get parts for and a bit louder than an NP205.

Re: Got a new truck
Well we got the suburban yesterday and went to work on this today but one of the lights were not working so we went and bought a light for the garage and some wire and switches for the truck. By the time we were done it was dark so we are putting working till tomorrow.
The plans are to put the motor mounts in my black truck and welding in a rough crossmember so we can go wheeling sunday. After we are going to wire the spot light for the back and weld the rest of the cab on.

Re: Got a new truck
Well we finished just now at 11:30 not really that late but seems to be because we were working halfway in the street. We made a crossmember for the black truck and got it on, had to grind a little so we grinded then stopped. We still have to pick up the trailor and weld tomorrow before we head out to go offroading.
Well what really killed us in time was we forgot a extension last week at a friends house. And we went to pick it up today and his sewage drain pipe broke and the city said that he couldn't stay at the house unless he fixed it. they were searching for the pipe and finally found it then my dad fixed it, we got there at 4 and left at 9-9:30. Got home and started working. Hpefully pics of wheeling tomorrow, not of this truck but the other one, the one which led us too start this one.

Re: Got a new truck
does your truck sit low in the front or is it just the angle?

Re: Got a new truck
Its about an inch higher in the front. And the one of the back tires is on the curb, with the angle of the camera makes it look higher in the back. The angle in this pic makes the front look a lot higher in the front , but its only an inch maybe 2.

Re: Got a new truck
But it looks like most are that way, some more noticable.
Well I thought since I found out when my shocks should come in I would post it. They should come on the 21st. Which If we get everything done we maybe able to wheel it on the 23rd. If not we will take the black truck and then the next weekend will we take it.

Re: Got a new truck
i had the same situation on my jimmy when i put the lift on. one side was to far forward for my liking so i just rotated the spring and it was good to go. seems like they'd rub more when there forward than reversed.

Re: Got a new truck
When they compress the way they are supposed to be the rear end gets pushed back it seems and at droop goes forward when I lifted it on a lift.

Re: Got a new truck
Well we got the taillights done, the power steering done, seat mount halfway done, ordered winch line done today. It has been raining this week so the progress is a little slower than should be, but still looks like we are planned to go saturday.

Re: Got a new truck
Well doesn't look like we're taking this this weekend. We are just going to take the black truck; because it has better tires, and its been raining all week; and not supposed to stop till this weekend. Hopefully next weekend.

Got my shocks finally they're filled to 300psi, and should get put on today, if the tabs get finshed. Cut them out yesterday but didn't fit right.
