Talking Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I just visited the Kansas City Pick n Pull the other day (Truman Road) any way's, there is a new body style pick up there that still has the bucket seats and center seat still in it, sorry, the 5.3 LS engine/trans already gone) but if someone were looking for these seats, what a bargain! about $90 for all three!!! but you might want to jump on it, those won't be there too long!!!!

I don't recall ever seeing "bed steps" as an option on these trucks -- kinda cool.

Pretty sure I read somewhere, but can't verify the veracity of the information, that from the mid forties to the early 80s, over half the trucks sold annually in the US were sold in Texas and Oklahoma. Makes sense. Funny story, I grew up in MA, but have spent most of my adult life in Oklahoma. Was back in MA a couple years ago and was at a Wal-mart. And when I came outside and started walking thru the parking lot, something looked odd and just wasn't right. What was it? Most of the vehicles were cars, not trucks, which is the absolute opposite here in Oklahoma.

Another one in the Tampa area. Pretty roached out. About the only thing worth saving would be the uncut dash.

They should be buckets and console for that year. He sent me a picture of the spid and it does have bucket seats listed as an option. Dark green with Green vinyl.

The seats just look weird to me like they may be out of another vehicle / fish's maybe.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I think that truck is pretty cool and very well optioned for the era. It sure is a long ways away though. You guys in TX and OK are pretty lucky to have C-10s lurking in every other barn and garage down there.

W/in a 5 mile radius of my house, I bet there's at least 30. Not sure if posted this on this thread, but pretty sure I read somewhere that from after WWII
(1945) thru the mid 80s, that over half the trucks sold annually in the US were sold in TX and Oklahoma.
