Mine is a 86 Blazer. A work in progress while a daily driver. And the best of all it was free. Has a Creat engine from Wells Racing Engines (350) rest is still stock. It only gets 10mpg. Some minor rust but when the w gets warmer here will be taken care of. The pictures are listed in the picture form under N2TRUX as "86BLAZER" had problems uploading to Ken did them for me. Also first chevy I have owened and the first 4X4.

I haven't read this board or done any significant work on the Blazer for a few years but lately I've got the bug again. Looking at everybody's work here has really got me inspired!
Here it is: '72 350/4 spd 2.5" Skyjacker lift, etc., etc. I did paint the horse trailer to match the truck. A few more pics are here: http://photobucket.com/albums/v666/mfs3k/ Mike |

New member - my 4WD
I flew out to CO 10/01, bought this CST and drove it back to NC in 2 days. Truck is rock-solid (except for the rockers). Original condition, including paint. I'm the second owner. The original owner used it to plow snow from his driveway (Gunnison, CO gets around 18' of snow annually). I use it to cruise around and enjoy the sunshine. I'm sure it's happier with this new life - the sunshine beats pushing snow any day. I'd like to keep it stock but someday hope to restore it.

MY 71 CST Blazer (before dismantling for rebuild)
Here is my Blazer before I decided to go through and redo the entire truck. Not quite a ground up or frame off but as close as I could get with the tools and space I have.
