Re: Weekly Sightings
you'll probably want to talk with one of the organizers of the club. the C/10 Club is a group of guys who are all buddies in cali and have shows, for the most part. i asked to use the name of the club and create a branch off of it here in arkansas since there are quite a few trucks here.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Unfortunately none of my friends have, desire to have or appreciaton for old trucks or cars like i do. They all have their shiny new lifted 4x4s. My dad and i are about it. Once i get outa college and have a full time job im gonna either 5/7 or bag my truck and then find a k10 and show em what a real 4x4 is.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Well stick around this forum and you'll make friends real fast who love these trucks. I'm fortunate enough to have several friends in town who love these trucks and from spring to fall the local A&W has a Thursday cruise night so everyone from all over gets together and has eats and listens to music and they have raffles. It's a real good time.

Re: Weekly Sightings
^ You're not the only one that hopes I get it finished soon! I'm tired of this 'weekly sighting' that never moves! Maybe you could just pull me around Sonic parking lot a few times and that can be our 'cruise-in'...

Re: Weekly Sightings
They actually did a really nice job on the spoiler and I am by no means a fan of bed spoilers but in this case it flowed really nice with the rest of the truck.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Truck #1 can do a burn out all day long in 4 wheel drive and spin all four tires. Looks cool.

Re: Weekly Sightings
id imagine adam could do a pretty cool burnout once his truck is back together. bb 468 and manual tranny with a 373s outta smoke the back tires right off. so here is a pic of a big box gmc that drops off candy in the vending machines. hey adam, by chance do you know who lives in jacksonville out towards tonyville /maddox rd with that 71/72 charcoal longbed with black grille? its a slick looking truck. he also has a late 60's/ early 70s ranchero.

Re: Weekly Sightings
i actually dig that truck, but not with all that mess on it. i sure have caught myself looking at slantbacks. id like to find one with no motor or tranny that i could use as a toy hauler. run a more modern engine and trans, like a vortec 350 or 454 with the 4l80e that way i can cruise the highway, get decent mpg, and take my truck to shows. OR go get MORE TRUCKS!

Re: Weekly Sightings
saw this slant today and burned my back tires off right in the middle of the road to get to it and grab a pic. i havent uploaded a good pic in awhile, there was no one coming in the 2 lanes coming or going...and it was a good enough excuse for me to pull a chuck norris(i have the same truck as walker texas ranger, ext cab ram). not quite as showy but fun....im 20 and fearless, yes i pay for my own truck, tires, gas, insurance etc, and yes there actually is a line, a fine one, but there is between fearless and dumb. lord knows i wouldve never done it in my chevy, but the dodge, eh, its a dodge, i dont mind tearing it up, its on its way either out the door or once i start dd my chevy, im gonna swap a cummins in it.

Re: Weekly Sightings
I spotted this one at a restuarant in Maysville, Kentucky today. It's a 69 or 70, didn't look at the front that close. Didn't really care for the El Camino rear bumper but a pretty slick looking stepside!
