the trick is seperating low light (headlights on) from high light (brakes on) and then from the three sets of sequential lights. Getting all three of these to appear simultaniously will be difficult in the rather narrow lense. The above clip shows the sequential part, but each set of lights must be able to do three levels of lightness. I think you'd need 3 columns per set (9 columns all together), so each set can be on, the brighter as it blinks it's turn in the sequential order, then even brighter for braking.

If ya end up buildin some of these blue dot ones I wanna see the pics!

Would it be possable to do a "blue dot" conversion on mine I got from ya? (depending on if I like 'em or not first I guess...LOL)

Justin, my wife just gave me mine for Christmas. Thanks a lot! She bought the turn signals, reverse lights, and tail lights, is there anyway I can test them without putting them in? I haven't wired my truck yet.

Yes you can test them with any 12 volt DC source, but be very careful! The outside of the bulb base is negatively grounded. Just run a wire from the positive side of the battery and touch it to the one or two of the contact points on the bulb base. Just be careful not to short anything out.

I've got a 67 and am very interested in your work, it looks top notch! I'd want front marker lights, and of course tail/brake lights. One thing I've been thinking about is using the back up lights as turn signals, like European trucks, would you be able to use an orange or amber led in the back up space?

I was thinking of integrating them into the rear bumper. Now that I've thought about it, I might pass on that idea.

I really want amber turn signals for the rear, if I used a clear lens would it be possible to use a few rows of amber led's? Probably not, just thinking out loud.

Yes that's possible. I could separate it into 1/3s and have one 1/3rd yellow and 2/3rds red like normal. That's very do-able. You would have to find a way to separate the turn signal from the brake light though. With a two element bulb, they get the brake and turn signal function from the same power source. You'd have to find a way to separate the two. The only thing that limits us is your imagination and the lense/housing workspace. Pretty much, If you can imagine it, I can probably do it. Blue dots, sequentials, caddy style.....I think we are just scratching the surface.

Geeze, thanks for the prep talk coach! I'm not sure about the split thing, the clear lenses might look like junk on my truck.

Either way I'm going to get a set of front 67 signals, tail/brake lights, and reverse lights.

edit-I've got another idea, if I wanted smoked lenses, should I smoke them before sending them to you?
