Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
None what so ever, I'll have to check tonite I Just finished the truck and to be honest I changed Front tire sizes 3 times and Rears 2 times during the build to get it like I wanted it, Luckily my local tire guy was willing to work with me during the build as long as I didn't drive on the tires he would send them back and get another size. 18's on the front and 20's on the rear

That is a good looking truck Alex41, kind of general Lee colored. Nice, any more details on the build.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Thanks boss. I'm not really digging the color, it's called chevy corral red (looks like hugger orange in person). I bought it before Christmas from a college kid who bought it at 15. It sports a mildly cammed 350/350 with a new 12 bolt 3.40 gear (long story) and a new set of 20x8 20x10 TT2's. I believe it has 2" lowering spindles with shackles and hangers out back on top of me removing a leaf from the spring pack.
I plan on dropping it at least another 2" all around soon and maybe doing a little engine and trans swap. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Oh...just a little LS based something or another.
Not sure exactly which one yet but I'm trying to get a wrecked GTO with an LS2 and T56 set up. Future plans include some kind of forced induction, maybe twin hairdryers. |

Zuke, love the pics but beware we are having non stop rain here in Phoenix and rain here means snow for the east. Also what's up with the exhaust are you melting the snow as you go?

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Thanks guys. Yes, it's a phantom grille. It was on there when I bought it, really not my favorite thing but like you said, it looks good on there so it will suffice till I can order some OE headlight bezels and cut this grille down to fit inside them.
BTW...I did purchase the LS2 from the GTO. It came with a 4L65E behind it not a T56. Should make for an easier install. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Well, here's an updated pic or two. New tires & rims, what's not current is that I added two inch drop shackles to the rear to level the truck out.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
What kind of wheels? The truck looks great, really like the wheels. They look like the old daisys. My wheels source said they were no longer available. Again it looks great!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Thanks for the positive words! The rims are American Racing Torq Thrust II's with the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating. The PVD gives the rim a kinda black tone to it. 15x8's up front, 15x10's in back.
