possmguts It seems to breath good, like I said in my post it was a trailer queen and I started driving it last year, has less than 200 mile on odometer but haven't had any problems with intake air.

Just kidding. Beautiful truck.
I also went down this road (twice) years back and at the end had a truck I could not even carry an ice chest or a lawn chair in. I even took off my shoes so I could get in the bed and wash the cab roof whether it was cold or not. Burned me out on show trucks so I went back to show muscle cars. At least them I can haul stuff in the trunk.
ANyhow, welcome to the forum and you have a stunning truck.

My 1969 CST/20. Last picture is when the truck was new. Now we are both retired from work. So, we just play!

Do you think you could get a better picture of the fabric in the middle of the original seat?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

Hi, This is my first post here. I will be picking up this truck on Saturday. It's a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne short bed, it's an original big block truck with Turbo 400 trans (I don't know if that matters), aluminum snow flake heads, big blower, Ford 9" rear end with 38? gears. Original anti sway bar, Craiger wheels, gear vendor overdrive and some other stuff. Other than that is original. It even has a working old school pioneer stereo and speakers. I may have payed too much, but it had a good story... that seemed believable, so I bough it. What do you guys think?

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part III

Here's my contribution to this thread: my old '69 C10 as found about a month ago. I sold it back in 2011 and never expected it to pop up on Craigslist after this long. Sadly, the guy who bought it from me hasn't taken care of it at all. Looks good in pics though.

This was my DD for 2010-2011 while I was finishing up college. I drove a 50 mile round trip every day on 4.10s at 8-10mpg! Motor was originally out of a '76 camaro, but I blew that up. Had a neighbor swap in a GMPP 350/290, and within 500 miles had an electric fire because he forgot to hook up the ground strap. I rewired everything under the hood, then sold it in my frustration. Womp...wish I hadn't done that!
