Re: 1966 suburban slammed fuel injected 6.2L

C.brown I saw you got a boyd welding tank. I am looking for one for my 64 suburban that I will be doing porterbuilt suspension on. Can you tell me if the tank he sells fits well with the porterbuilt and if it will allow it to drop all the way still? I'm doing a LS motor as well so will be doing the EFI tank probably exactly like yours. My stock tank is only an inch or so from the floor but its about 13" tall and his is 10" I believe.

Any input or advice?

I don't know if this is too late or not but I have a tank from them in my burb with PB suspension.

Here it is installed:

I just got my FI pump from them the other day so I could also run FI. They still have the blueprint for specs. Will allow you to use factory fuel fill.

I would call them mine was the first one of these years he did I seen somebody else's on here from them and turned out a little better great guys to deal with and if your running Porterbuilt in the rear don't use the 4 link setup I was the Guinea pig and would go a different rout with what's out there now

How much do you have to raise your carrier bearing? What angle did you set your motor at?
