late night work St. Valentines massacre got the rear under the frame ......ill P-coat the u bolts tomorrow have this baby on all fours by weekend

Hey looks great! I know when it comes time to put the body back on the frame the frame will usually have a lot of dust and such. What will you clean it with?

That frame looks great. i think im gonna buy a spare frame and and switched everything over. The truck i have was never a driver. i want to show the previous owner that anything is possible.

Hey Ryan i been covering it when i know the work im doing its going to be dusty and be honest i been wiping it down and blowing it off ....if i need i may give it a bath when the weather is warmer dryer best I can do

thanks for saying so.....funny the reason i bought this frame i was going to use it for my SWB step side do what your talking about ...then this deal came up for the sheet metal only and I went the other way ..... when this one is finished i may look for another frame

I powder coated the rotors today taped off the face where the pad meets the surface... will see how they hold up to the heat.. buttoned both sides up for the last time ...we r headed for some RR in the Grand Caymans tomorrow

thanks for the nice words.... funny i was going to do that.... use this frame for my stepside and then redo the steppers frame .....then i bought the 69 and now i have 3 ...billsbowtie has one for sale on the parts for sale thread ....they are out there..give him a look

Jim eastwood offers satin or semi gloss nothing flat that i have seen i will keep looking at other vendors thanks for the kind words .. i been working on cleaning up the 350... next steps lots of plumbing brake lines first ....then fuel ....I am heavily leaning towards Holley Sniper EFI Kit about 1300.EFI FOR DUMMIES but ill spend more than half that on a good carb and manifold kit includes pump and fuel lines and computer be a first for me may get me closer to a LS swap ...some day maybe when i retire.....im too old School need to get out of my comfort zone been following your progress ...amazing

Thanks Jess for the pc info., Chevy orange for the engine paint?

Pulling my hair out on my harnesses, second one for the EFI, made the mistake of pulling shrouding off, ended up a big birds nest...I do have a nice GMPP aluminum manifold if you want to make a deal

Sometimes, I wish I stayed old school...

chev orange by KBS coatings sprayed it a few days ago... good product as you know its all in the prep... ill post up some pics tomorrow i have some bling for it arriving end of day so says the tracking from Summit. i am interested in the intake may give me a reason for a visit ill PM you some info tonight...good luck with the harnesses
