Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
Looks like they would step up production a bit. Their going to lose business if people want to take another brand. I don't.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
they offer western chassis spindles if you need them now...but I don't know that co. well enough, so I'll stay with the one I have heard good things about.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
I got the c notch kit in the mail but I want to finish up the frontend first before I start on the rear. Still waiting on ECEs call.

I'm supposed to get something from ECE via UPS today...but am guessing its the boxing plates I ordered that were b/o... along with the spindles.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
Yeah its been gone a while now. Thanks.
I went up to Southern Kentucky Classics and bought some parts and ordered my vintage air kit and a grill. I also ordered a 4/6 drop kit from ECE. The guy said the spindles are another week out.

The guy said that they would probably be in in a week or so. I ordered a 4/6 drop kit anyway.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
I sold it already. I'm going to put in a stereo. I have one of those polished aluminum bezels that a board member made. it goes around the cd player faceplate.

Young Frankenstein will be hibernating over the summer while we go to the lake nearly every weekend, I'll probably wait to start a thread until then.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
I've been ready. I have the arms painted and ball joints in. its holding me up as I want to finish up the front and then move to the rear. I don't like yanking and pulling nuts and bolts while its on jackstands. I got some parts painted in the meantime. I'll post pics later.

Looking good. I have to admit...I really like the look of grade8 bolts on a freshly painted black frame. I just went and bought some more for mine the other day!

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside
No work progress but did get the first box from ECE. rearshock relocators, all 4 shocks, super track bar kit, still waiting on springs and spindles. I called and checked and got the same story. foundry is about a week away from shipping them.
