Sorry for the lateness, I was looking through the thread and seen this post. Just curious on why, I am looking at doing a full setup on my 68' just curious if you had a bad experience with them because they are a brand I'm considering. I love the truck bro, the front red and white clip is my new wallpaper.... So CLEAN!!!!

Thanks Man its cool you made it your wallpaper!! I had some small problems with CPP, I received the wrong lower ball joints first then the tie rod sleeves were the wrong ones and then my brake lines wouldn't work. But there products are really nice! It rides really good too! I would PM lolife99 he can tell you the best route to go, he really knows what he's talking about and the best places to buy them!

Hmmm has to be suspension related sense you already had an engine rebuilt....

Disc Brake kit and Brake booster setup?

Great progress, I'm impressed with the roof job! And load capacity at Lowe's did you weld any braces in the cab before you cut it ? I didn't notice any. Looks like it all lined up real nice. Keep it up it is looking good!

Thanks, I did not use any braces. I figured the front wouldn't move due to the fact that the fenders and every thing were bolted on. I tacked the front and the rear and then made sure the doors matched up as they should. I had to adjust a little but I did my best to cut the replacement top just like I did my cab so they would match up. And believe it or not it was perfect!!

Okay that makes sense, I didn't think about the fenders holding the firewall square. It sure looks like it lined up perfect! I will be replacing my roof eventually but not the extent of the whole rear pillar as you did, just splitting the seam at the rear top of the cab so I will weld in some braces near the top for insurance to keep it from getting all caddy wompus on me. Have to say it Again- Nice job on the roof!
