Many new parts - Truck itself is very nice. 292 straight six has a broken rod, needs rebuilt or swap engine. Other than that the truck is very nice. 4 speed / 2 speed axle shift like new. Body very nice. Interior is all new, new brakes, brake hydrovac, carb, starter, fuel pump, hoses, belts, etc., have been replaced in the last year or two. 70,000 original miles. Meh...I understand all the work that has been done is substantial...but $2500 buck for an 8,000lbs. heap of metal that must be towed anywhere you need it to go for the time being?
Not a "steal" in my book. Or at least not a steal from the buyers point of view.

My opinion: God I love rough old trucks like that... But that truck is just a wreck, would be very expensive to "save". Only reasonable thing to do would be to drive it as is. A resto would be unspeakable.
